Gaudeamus, meaning Let Us All Rejoice, comes from the first words of the Introit for the Feast of all Saints:
Let us all rejoice in the Lord, celebrating a feast in honor of all the saints, in whose solemnity the angels rejoice and join in praising the Son of God.
Ps. 32,1.

How to Use This Blog
A Month at a Glance calendar for the current month should appear on the opening page of this site, listing the Liturgical Feasts in chronological order. Some of the feast days will be hilighted in yellow; these are the days for which I have been able to provide links. Most links should include a brief life of the saint or feast of the day, or at least a link to a website that provides one. Most days will also have miscellaneous information and activities that can be used to celebrate the life of the saint. Some of the links will direct you to my other blog Are We There Yet? where I've been doing feast day posts for a few years now.
I haven't been able yet to fill out every day of the liturgical year, but it's my hope to accomplish that over time. Also, I have to warn you that it may occasionally happen that the current month is not on the opening page. If this happens, it's likely my real-life-at-home has precluded my time on the computer. I will try to catch up as I'm able. Please be patient!
I hope that this blog helps others to learn as much by the reading as it has taught me in the writing. Thank you and God bless you!
The Necessary Disclaimer
Unfortunately, I cannot endorse all of the content of every website that I link on this blog. In your charity, please understand that I do the best I can to find informative, interesting, and truth-filled links to illustrate and explain the lives of the saints -- but I can't read through everything. I do welcome any politely phrased corrections to any errors I may have made and would be thrilled to receive links or information that will add to the usefulness of this site. You may e-mail me directly at davisfarm11@hotmail with any comments or ideas. Thank-you in advance!
